Have you ever met someone who retired, and things just kind of went down hill from there? In the last days of their career, they would make jokes about how nice it was going to be to leave the workforce and finally get some rest. Maybe they watched more of their favorite TV show, but soon, they got bored.
What are you doing with your life? Do you know? What’s important to you? Are you giving your life’s time to those important things or are you directionless and sort of hoping it will all magically work out in the end?
Duane Kline has been doing some thinking about these ideas and he’s got some wisdom to drop for you.
For those of you who don’t know, Duane was the high school principal of Owen County High School for over 10 years. He and his wife Anne live in the New Liberty community in Owen County. I really like this concept of honoring one’s neighbors.
